“I Remember You Out of Order” is an original abstract painting from Christina Scherer’s collection I Used to Write Poetry, a series translating memory, loss, and love into atmosphere and motion. This piece moves like recollection itself—fragmented, fluid, and alive. It speaks to the way remembrance arrives not in sequence, but in feeling: flashes of color, scent, and light suspended in time.

Created through Christina’s ritual process, each layer is infused with the tones of crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and prayer. The water used in the paint was blessed and sung over, embedding vibration into pigment. Through this practice, the work becomes a living, resonant artwork, carrying the frequency of longing, tenderness, and transcendence.
