"between realms"

“Between Realms” is an original abstract painting from Christina Scherer’s collection I Used to Write Poetry, a series exploring the unseen language of vibration and feeling. This intimate piece rests in the space between — between breath and silence, earth and sky, form and formlessness. It invites the viewer into that still moment of transition, where everything is changing yet perfectly whole.

Created through Christina’s ritual process, each layer is infused with the tones of crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and prayer. The water used in the paint was blessed and sung over, embedding sound and intention into pigment. Through this sacred act, the painting becomes a living, resonant artwork, vibrating with the energy of presence and possibility.

Crafted with acrylic and ink on hand-stretched cotton canvas, the surface holds luminous translucence and quiet depth, like mist caught in light. Finished with archival varnish for protection and longevity.
