"We Made a World (and Forgot the Instructions)"
Original Abstract Painting by Christina Scherer
6 x 8 inches | Acrylic and Ink on Hand-Stretched Canvas
“We Made a World (and Forgot the Instructions)” is an original abstract painting from Christina Scherer’s collection I Used to Write Poetry, a body of work exploring the space between remembering and becoming. This piece contemplates what it means to create beauty — to build, to love, to lose our way, and to begin again.
Each layer was born through a ritual process: sound bowls, tuning forks, and prayer woven into pigment. The water used was blessed and sung over, embedding frequency into every brushstroke. The result is a living, resonant artwork, pulsing softly with energy, emotion, and truth.
Created with acrylic and ink on hand-stretched cotton canvas, the surface reveals depth and movement—colors that shift like thought, memory, and light. Finished with archival varnish for protection and longevity.
This painting carries the frequency of reflection, creation, and reawakening, making it ideal for intimate interiors, creative spaces, or anywhere contemplation and imagination are welcome.
