“Tides of Breath; Whispering of Dreams” is an original abstract painting from Christina Scherer’s collection I Used to Write Poetry, a series exploring the meeting place between sound and stillness, body and spirit. This piece moves like a slow current — an exhale of light and color that mirrors the quiet rhythm of sleep, prayer, and ocean air.

Created through a sacred, meditative process, each layer is infused with the tones of crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and spoken prayer. The water used in the paint was blessed and sung over, embedding vibration and intention into pigment.
